As an example: EWM warehouse layouts can be exchanged in both directions. Optimized assignments of products and the respective re-locations might be calculated in W2MO and can then be sent to SAP EWM or WM/LES directly. There SAP may steer all necessary actions in the warehouse. Current or past orders could be transferred as well. The latter can be used to optimize processes and layouts with the help of W2MO and hence improve the efficiency significantly.
