Automatic recording of goods movements
Track your pallet movement throughout your whole operation with one single identification! Once a pallet has been uniquely identified, for example during goods receiving, we can follow its movement as long as it stays in an area covered by our recognition units. Put-down and pick-up is also supported for floor spaces as well as for high bay storage. There is no need for additional tags or labels.
Our recognition units recognize the current position of the forklift and its loading situation enabling automatic booking of pallet transport. If a pallet is dropped into a floor space this is recorded with the help of the Digital Twin which models all bins. In case the drop is made into a high bay storage, the fork height recognized by the cameras is used to determine the exact storage bin. This will provide you with seamless traceability of the pallet movements.
This information can also be transferred automatically to your WMS system. As SAP Application Development Partners, we can provide a standard interface to SAP. For other WMS systems, we implement interfaces using a database connection or RestfulAPI requests.
Pallet Identification
For goods tracking, only one single identification of the pallet using its label is necessary. For this, we provide two options. Either our solutions for forklift onboard cameras provide an automatic scan of the label during pick up for labels facing the forklift driver. For labels facing the outside, we offer identification gate solutions. Alternatively, if the pallet is originates in a conveyor system, also an interface with the conveyor can act as identification.
All of these options provide a unique identification of the pallet for goods tracking. Once this identification was successful, the pallet is known to the RTL&RS and all subsequent movements are recorded.
Keep track of your pallet positions
Pallets are tracked throughout all their movements, so their exact position is always known. Use the user friendly interface to search for a pallet ID and the exact position of the pallet will be shown to you in the 3D view of the Digital Twin.
