CLIENT AND SERVER CONFIGURATION

Technical Requirements Client:

  • There is no software installation required, just an HTML5 and WebGL-enabled browser such as current Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge
  • Hardware: for 3D visualization: mid-range graphics card with 3D chip
  • Ports: HTTP connection to the server (default TCP 8080)

Cloud access (if subscription was booked):
Access is via the link. All connections are made through a 256-bit AES -secured connection.

Technical Requirements Server

W2MO

Software
  • W2MO runs on OpenJDK 21 with Tomcat 9
  • We use mariaDB 10 as database, MariaDB server time zone should be the same as server time zone
  • JDK, Tomcat and mariaDB can be installed directly on the server, or containerized with docker images.
  • We support 64 bit linux-based OS: Linux 4.18 or newer; RPM based (e.g. RHEL or CentOS) or Debian based OR Windows 7, 10, 11 or newer (64-bit)
  • For installation and maintenance, admin/root (sudo mode in Linux) is necessary for the needed components (e. g. root user and rights needed for Java, MariaDB, TomCat), e.g. ssh, VNC, RDP access or access by AnyDesk or TeamViewer for remote maintenance)
Hardware
  • Min 32 GB RAM, more is needed for larger layouts.
  • 1 TB SSD storage, more is needed for larger layouts and backups
  • min 6 CPU cores
  • Ports available on the Intranet: HTTP access for clients (intranet)
  • Data security ensured by RAID-system, backup of db-files on operating system level if required, regular layout backup

Tracking & AMR: Camera Server

  • Server must be installed locally, on-site with direct Gbit LAN connection to the recognition units
  • Our software runs in a docker image. Thus, we need linux-based OS with docker 19 or later, recent nvidia driver. E.g. ubuntu 22 or 24.
  • 32 GB RAM
  • 1 TB SSD
  • min 8 CPU cores for up to 100 cameras; 12 cores for up to 200 cameras; 16 cores for up to 300 cameras and 20 cores for up to 500 cameras
  • For installation and maintenance, admin/root (sudo mode in Linux) is necessary
  • For some use cases a GPU is necessary, clarified as part of project

Identification Workplace & AI recognition

  • Identification camera (model depending on use case)
  • Recognition Box with GPU (individual performance requirements)
  • Typical hardware for Recognition Box: Windows / Linux PC with NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1080 (or more powerful)
  • W2MO License
