Workforce Planning

The central part of workforce planning is the staff demand calculation. The staff demand calculation and logistical production planning are very industry-specific and are optimally covered by W2MO^®. Workforce planning is only truly effective if the pending workload and its distribution to individual work areas and equipment can be represented fast and realistically. Real figures help to determine exact demands and the existing staff capacity may be used appropriately. The more accurate production planning is carried out, the more accurately workforce planning can be done and used in practice.

W2MO^® offers logistic specific methods proven in practice:

• Model of any customer specific layout (based e. g. on real processes and activities)
• Calculation of staff demand (on the base of orders and standard times)
• Identification of dynamic and area or team specific work loads

Based on the standard times for the individual processes the total (or for each area) work required is calculated for each package of orders or in any time bucket. The availability of staff by capacity groups (or teams) can be specified using a comfortable editor. Comprehensive simulation capabilities are supported.
